Rules information

Team members: A maximum of 10 team members can be registered. Only registered players are permitted to participate.

Number of players on the field: Each team may have 5 players on the field at a time. Substitutions are unlimited, but a player may only enter the field once the player being substituted has completely left.

Clothing and equipment: All players must wear shirts of the same colour, except for the goalkeeper. Watches, pedometers, jewellery, or casts are not allowed. Necessary equipment can be borrowed from the hall steward at the Topsporthal (TSH). If both teams are wearing the same colour, bibs will be provided.

Score: Both teams are responsible for keeping track of the score.

Time and gameplay: Both teams are responsible for timing the match, unless otherwise agreed. The match will start no later than 10 minutes after the scheduled time, even if teams are incomplete. Each half lasts 20 minutes. No time-outs are allowed. If the match is not completed by the end of the reserved time, the score at that point will be final. There is no stop-clock.

During the match

Sportsmanship: Act respectfully and avoid committing contact fouls. Prevent deliberate fouls that block clear goal-scoring opportunities. Acknowledge your own fouls or accept them if the opponent claims them. Always display sportsmanship, both as players and supporters. Supporters are not permitted on the pitch and must remain in the stands.

Fouls: The game will be paused when a foul is called out or claimed. Common fouls include:

  • Physical contact (foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, etc.)
  • Touching the ball when your support leg is behind the ball carrier
  • Touching the ball when the goalkeeper is holding or securing it on the ground
  • Handling the ball with the hand or arm, unless in a protective situation or when contact was unavoidable and undeliberate
  • Sliding tackles by field players (even without a direct opponent) or by the goalkeeper on an opponent
  • The goalkeeper handling the ball after a deliberate back-pass

Stopped phases: A stopped phase can only take place once both teams agree on who gets the ball. Opponents must remain 3 metres away, but the ball can be played earlier if it is stationary. Stopped phases may include:

  • Free kick: For a foul outside the goal area, direct scoring is allowed
  • Penalty: For a foul inside the goal area, the ball is placed on the penalty spot, with the goalkeeper on the goal line
  • Kick-off: After each half or following a goal, direct scoring is allowed
  • Corner kick: If the ball crosses the goal line, direct scoring is allowed
  • Throw-in: If the ball crosses the sideline or hits the ceiling, direct scoring is not allowed
  • Goalkeeper throw: If the ball crosses the goal line, it cannot be thrown directly into the goal

Violence or deliberate fouls: A player who uses violence or deliberately prevents a clear goal-scoring opportunity will be immediately substituted and cannot return during the match.

Injuries: The game will be stopped in the event of an injury.
